Thu-Fri TV Guide
I’m not a big fan of watching TV, but my Thursday and Friday nights are now rejuvenated by cable television. Lets start with Thursday: FX provides humor on top of humor with It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and The League. It’s Always Sunny is in it’s 5th season, and it has to be the first consistently good show I’ve ever watched. Always funny and entertaining, you can’t help but fall in love with the whole cast. Following right after, is the newly premiered show, The League. Only two episodes in, I can tell it’s on track to the same consistency Sunny has. So we go from a group of friends in Philadelphia and their daily lives, to a bunch of buddies competing in a fantasy football league(the side plots and stories truly make the show though).
Friday night, is my favorite good ol’ Monk-Psych combo on USA. I wasn’t a fan of Monk in it’s early days, but it grew on me, even more so when Psych first aired. Mr. Monk is in his final season though, and Psych won’t air new episodes until January. Back to back shows with a former detective with OCD, followed by the hysterical combination of a ‘psychic’ detective and his childhood partner. Ahh, TV is good again!
